Hot spoilers for Monday’s October Road!

Sunday, December 2nd, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

We have spoilers for the third episode of the second season, airing Monday December 3rd. And wow!

Hannah chooses Ray, which leads Nick to finally realize that it’s time to move the frak on. It also leads Road to go the flashback route, showing us Nick and Hannah’s first encounter as kids and then when they dated as teens. Meanwhile, Owen learns the details of Allison and Ikey’s affair by going on Nick’s “infidelity tour,” and Eddie and Hannah are hiding a big secret from Nick that Eddie is chomping at the bit to spill.

There is also a hint that October Road isn’t doing that fabulously after the first two episodes of the season… but can you blame them? Hardly anyone knew the episode was going to be airing Thanksgiving Day, of all the days to pick.

Stacy Keibler guest starring on October Road

Sunday, December 2nd, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

stacykeibler.jpg

Former wrestler Stacy Keibler, who most recently appeared on What About Brian and an episode of George Lopez, and of course, her stint on Dancing with the Stars. She has been cast as the ex girlfriend of Eddie Latekka (Geoff Stults).

From Entertainment Weekly:

‘’She was the high school prom queen and Eddie’s… girlfriend, and she left town, broke Eddie’s heart, and married a businessman. Turns out that her husband was gay, and she’s now come back to the Ridge to lick her wounds. Her return sends a chill, obviously, up [Eddie’s current girlfriend] Janet’s [Rebecca Field] spine,'’ Appelbaum told Entertainment Weekly. “And how that plays out — how Eddie and the Keibler character react, how Janet reacts, how the insecurities bubble — is a cause of great friction.'’

Her episode, the 12th of the second season, won’t be airing until sometime in the new year. The second season of October Road debuted on Thanksgiving Day, then hit its Monday at 10pm slot last week.

Fans of the critically acclaimed October Road will be pleased to know that it will be returning for a second season on ABC. But fans will have to wait even longer, since ABC has planned it as a mid-season replacement series.

This means it could debut anytime from late fall to late winter, depending on how well the brand new series does in the ratings. Don’t forget that the series did not even premiere until March this year. So there currently is not a time slot available for the show.

That 70s Show’s Laura Prepon on October Road

Thursday, March 22nd, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Laura Prepon, famous for playing Donna Pinciotti on the long running sitcom That ’70s Show, has shown up on October Road, playing a mom. You will notice her (at least what I thought was) trademark read hair is gone.

Calling all Donna Pinciotti fans! OK, so it’s not exactly the same redhead from That ’70s Show, but Laura Prepon is back on the small screen with a lighter ‘do and a big role — playing Mom on the new ABC drama October Road, which airs a new episode tonight at 10 pm/ET. While she’s no Kitty Forman, her 28-year-old character, Hannah, does balance a job, a relationship and parent-teacher meetings. But her biggest struggle is her high-school sweetheart (played by Bryan Greenberg) rolling back into town after a decade’s absence and dragging the past along with him.

You can read Laura’s full interview about the show on TVGuide.com

October Road airs Thursdays at 10pm on ABC, and Laura makes her debut in tonight’s episode.

If you have wondered what happened to October Road, which was picked up as a new series last fall, wonder no more. The series will finally have its series premiere this week.

The episode, simply titled Pilot, will premiere on Thursday, March 15th at 10pm.

10 years after leaving his hometown, Nick Garrett returns to Knights Ridge, to teach a one-day course at Dufresne College, which he believes is a great way to find out what changes since he was gone. After hurting the ones he loved by writing a book, a best-selling novel, and discovering their secrets, Nick will have to find a way to confront past demons and move on with his life.

The pilot will air in the juicy timeslot following Grey’s Anatomy.

October Road latest pilot to be picked up by ABC

Monday, October 16th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

October Road, a family drama starring Bryan Greenberg, has been picked up for six episodes by ABC.

The project centers on a young, acclaimed novelist (Bryan Greenberg) at a crossroads in life when he returns to his hometown to teach at the local university and faces the family and friends he left behind.

The drama pilot, which co-stars Tom Berenger and Geoff Stults, didn’t make the cut in May, but ABC kept the pilot in play by extending the options of the actors in July.

There is no word on if this series will run in the spring, or if it is planned for a summer release yet.
